If I re-arrange a midifile in an external sequencer like Cubase for example, whats the best way to transfer the finished arrangement into the KN's sequencer. The only way I can think of at the moment is to re-save the sequence from Cubase as SMF and load it into the KN7000 with Song Manager.

I remember reading an article in Technote magazine by Phil Leader where he said the people who create the KN's styles use a sequencer such as Cubase or Cakewalk.

Just wondering if anybody else 'tinkers' with midifiles and could offer me a few tips.

You know they talk about 'snailmail' as the ancient alternative to e-mail....well I stll use the slow alternative of transferring the midifile to a floppy disk on my laptop and then loading it in the KN7000 from that floppy disk. Certainly not faster than your way, eh...

no floppys on any of my computers either so I went to the electronics store and bought a USB floppy disc drive for about 15.00 USD and no more problem.
Give it a try.
Then you next problem is finding floppy discs
