If I am using SD Audio play and currently playing track 20 then want to play track 18 next, when I press stop the cursor goes straight back to song 1, I then have scroll back through to 18. Is there a setting somewhere to stop this so the cursor stops on the last song played ?

Yup - the play button is also the pause button so you can then move backwards and forwards from where you were at that point.
