Grateful if forum members could please help.

I observed a friend use a feature in a Yahama PSR740 keyboard and wish to know if that feature is in KN7000:

The friend connected a microphone to the PSR740 and when he he played and sang through the mic, the keyboard was able to harmonize his voice into more than one part - producing the effect of more than one person singing.

Please may I know if this feature is in KN7000, and if so, how do I set it up to achieve that effect. Is it also available in KN5000 cos I still use the KN5 also.

I'll also appreciate Technicsplayer's expert input on this please.

And thanks in advance to you all for your valued suggestions.

See page 45 of your manual under Mic. At the bottom it talks about Multi Effect.

It is not available on the KN5000.

Is the harmonizer on the kn7000 usable? ...

The one on the kn6000/kn65000 for all intent and purpose was NOT ...

While some kb's have fairly decent hamonizers, I believe vocalists who want really good sounding harmonies opt for dedicated harmony units:

KN7000 harmonizer just the same as the KN6000/6500 - totally unusable!! Waste of space..........

I agree with both of you Tony and Bill. It is there though, if you want to play with it.
