Hello,

Your email address has denied the acceptance of my e-mail.
So, I write it into the forum.

It is difficult for me in a foreign language professional terms to describe. I hope you can understand my attempt.

Installation instructions for update KN2600

1. Current version:
- Turn off the keyboard.
- Press the SOUND GROUP section the first three buttons in the top row
[PIANO] - [STRINGS & VOCAL] - [GUITAR & HARPSI] and keep them during the
Switching mode.
- After turning right you will see below in the display
Version number.
- If the version number is equal to or even higher, than those offered here,
an update is not necessary.

2. Create the update on a SD-Card
- Use the update is only for SD cards from 8 to 64 MB
Storage capacity. The SD card has been formatted at the keyboard (not
on the PC).
- Insert the SD card into your SD card writer, and make sure
that this computer is connected.
- Now copy the file "KN24PRG.DAT" on the SD Card.

3. The update on KN2600:
- Insert the SD Card into the SD slot of your KN2600 On.
- Press the first 4 panel memory keys, hold it down and
turn on the Keyboard.
- Select the display UPDATE so often, until the process begins.
- When the message "Completed! Turn on AGAIN" turn off your KN2600 and
after about 2-3 seconds.
CA Software assumes no responsibility for errors or
Damage caused by the update! Do take the precaution at the point 3 in
described process instead of "UPDATE" First, a "CHECK".

Greetings
Harry

Hiya Harry
Is the Technics KN7000 still a popular keyboard for players in Germany?

Hi Rog,

in the German Technics forum, there are 734 users.
As the popularity of keyboards are concerned, have Yamaha and Korg Technics outdated. Of course, because there are no new models of Technics anymore.
As for the handling with Technics keyboards are concerned, look the other still to be envious.
