Help fill this up. It might actually be of use for those looking to buy stuff.

Alesis Ion Synthesizer , probably out already just not here, 8 voices, 4 parts.

Clavia G2 Modular , 4 parts, more performance orientated than the old modular. Comes as an engine only rack version too.

Elektron Monomachine , 24 voices, 6 parts(?), well it has 6 sequencer tracks anyway. This thing looks so good. Hopefully some of the Machinedrum capabilities were transferred over to this one.

Anything else? Doesn't have to be synths.

Het Tek,
I thought Alesis were history...They were going out of business a few years back.
Did some other company by them out?

I noticed the price on the Andromeda has been cut in half or something. Is this true?

yeah Alesis is owned by Harmon Industries now. The A6 was going to be dropped but instead they tightened up on a lot of it's parts The A6 does have one oh my God LFO section that can turn a fat sound into obease even. I have a red one which to me basically means that mine's not a blue color. It is one of the last before the "lapse" from the change over which also to me means absolutely nothing. I find my board to be great sounding yet a real cumbersome bugger to operate if the sound you seek is one you have not already written and patched in. Now that I can operate it proficiently, I also believe I can bring in an FA-18 Hornet fully loaded down by eyeballing it with no auto pilot.

Hey, freddy, that thing looks sexy. I wish I could play

Morph, do you have any pics on the red A6? I don't think I've seen one yet. All you see on the net is the blue/gray ones.

Well, I checked out the ION some days ago and I was a bit shocked, first, I like what I read but I don`t like the sound! I never would buy an ION when we can earn for the same money a Access VirusB.. Arhhh!
