Thank you Bob for your quick reply. Unfortunatly that is not what I want, page 121 shows the reverse of what I want. I want to transfer custom styles that I downloaded from the German Technics website and put them in memory A B or C in order to use them on my KN2600 keybord. Derek

Jargon buster question - are you sure that they are 'custom' styles and not just non-standard styles that you wish to add in to your keyboard...
Rog
p.s. to other readers - the KN2600 does not have a floppy disk slot so transfers of style files from one's computer need to be carried out direct to an SD Card...

Derek, I didn't realize you were working with a KN2600. The KN2600 does not have custom memory. I do not know of any way to do what you want without first going through a KN7000 to change the styles from Custom to the composer.

If you have access to a KN7000, load the styles into the custom memory of the KN7000. Then use the procedure on page 121 to copy the styles to the KN7000 composer. Be sure to set the direction of the copy so that it copies from Custom Memory to the Composer. After that, save the files that are in the KN7000 composer in the normal way. Then they will load into the KN2600 from the SD card that you used when you saved them with the KN7000.

Hi Rog The custom style that I was trying to save to composer in order to save to SD card so that I could load onto my KN2600 was downloaded from the German Technics website you metioned. Derek

Derek, if you follow the instructions on page 121 it will work. You must be doing something wrong. If you send the custom style to me I'll convert it for you.

Hi Bob no way can I get the various custom styles that I downloaded from the German Technics website into composer memory A B or C, when I try it puts something entirely different in for example A memory. If you go onto that website and try it for yourself you will see what I mean Derek

What is the link to the web site, and what custom style do you want for your KN2600?
