I used a korg i3 for six years till 2000 and found it the best arranger board (voices aside)for live work (great drums, etc) and basic songwriting. (versatile)
Of course it dated but IMHO outclassed everything after it,including Korg's later boards, especially for ease of use.

I'm now into home recording and love to use an arranger as a base to mix, match and change around to suit. Can anybody suggest which would be the best arranger module (or board) to use for variety and style range & quality, and which uses up to 16 bars of variation.

I was going to get the PA1 pro, but somebody said it was just as confusing as the PA80, which I tried and found strange after the i3 (I didn't get on with the i30 either)

If I do get a module, what would be the best controller keyboard for sounds & maybe sequencer ?

I would really appreciate the views of all you guys with all your experience. Thanks

Ken.

You should read through postings on the General Arranger Forum here. They really know arranger keyboards.
