I found this on the General arranger SZ site, some have called it the Yamaha site incorrectly. It give the Kn7000 another view of it’s many possible uses.

When I see a setup like that, I have to wonder how old it is. He could have used a KN7000 to get the same (probably better sounding) results by putting each of the registrations that he used in successive panel memories and then incrementing the panel memories with a foot switch. He did a great job with the tools that he had to use.

I'm with you Bob - I think the set-up is way over the top. He has either had to take two of the keyboards apart and separate the control panels from the keys, to achieve the three tier manuals, or possibly the original keys are hidden and he's using MIDI keyboards to control the two vertical instruments.

John, the KN7000 was released in 2002

I may have to use two KN7000s for an event I've got coming up which I could connect seperately to my amplification system but would it be simpler to midi one across to the other and take all the sound from that one?
