I have a a3000 v. 2 with 2 megs of ram and needless to say but it ain't enough and i want to upgrade to 128 megs seeing as how ram is cheap cheap these days . And i went to a3k-central web site where there is a faq that lists the different manufacturers of ram that work in the a3000 . But the faq only lists 4 manufacturers that are confiremed to work in the a3000

1. Melco
2. IO Data
3. Fujitsu
4. Toshiba

I called everywhere in town (indianapolis) and no1 has 4 32 meg simms from these manufacturers and i need to know if there are other manufacturers 32 meg simms that work in the a3000 . And apparently just because a manufacturers 4 , 8, or 16 megs simms work doesn't mean there 32 meg simms work . So only recommend 32 megs simms please , thank you

Most of 32 mb simms works fine (just check it speed, has to be less than 8ns) edo ram works fine also. Best thing to do is try before buy.
