Is anyone using the PSR 8000 keyboard. I am using a PSR 730 at the moment and would like to buy a PSR 8000. I hear that it is rich in features. Is this true?

I've got both a PSR 740 and an 8000 right next to me at the moment. The 8000 is still the far better of the two instruments in terms of features and sound. The 740 has a few new styles, but also has some rather useful ones missing. If you want very in-depth programming facilities, then the 800 is the one for you - and many retailers are discounting it at the moment to make way for it's replacement. You should be able to pick one up (new) for around 1500 UK pounds sterling.

Haven't seen the 740 yet, but read about it.
In my opinion, there's no way they can match the PSR8000's features for the price of the 740. If you need a hard drive, sampler, vast programmability, etc. Go for the 8000.
