I want to make a MIDI cable between a MIDI/Joystick port on soundcard to a standard MIDI port. but I don't have the information about a standard MIDI port. I wonder if somebody know the standard MIDI port specification. Thank you1

The MIDI cable is not an actual cable. You'll need some small components also.

The material list is :

1 optocoupler 4N25
3 resistor 220 ohm
1 resistor 1K ohm
1 AND gate 74LS08
2 DIN plugs female 5 pins
1 DB plug Male 15 pins
1 diode 1N914

The pin map of the DB connector of the MIDI port is:

1- +5V
2- X button joystick A
3- X pot joystick A
4- Ground
5- Ground
6- Y pot joystick A
7- Y button joystick A
8- +5V
9- +5V
10- X button joystick B
11- X pot joystick B
12- MIDI OUT
13- Y pot joystick B
14- Y button joystick B
15- MIDI IN

I made my cable myself and is working properly. If you are used on iron soldering, it's relative simple to make it, but I would recommend to buy a pre-fabricated cable, as the price is very cheap now.
Anyway, if you would rather try it, I can send you the schematics.

Correction ...
When I say "The MIDI cable is not an actual cable ... " , I mean the MIDI cable to connect a sound card to a MIDI equipment, not a standard MIDI cable which is only a cable with 2 wires and shield.

The actual diagram of this cable is available online at the MIDI Manfacturer's Association website:

jaaf told me a kind of that using 74ls00, of course it works. but i still have a quenstion: yahama has a kind of midi adaptor cable called mdc-001, kraft music express also has a kind of midi adaptor cable. they are just a cable.is there any something like 74ls00 in it, or is there any differences between that cable and what we have done?

74LS00 or 74LS08 (NAND or AND). It doesn't matter as they are used just for buffering the output (2 NAND in series, used as NOT doesn't invert the output, so does 2 AND).

As Creative haven't included the optocoupler in its circuits, all the MIDI adaptor cable must have it. You may not see it cause usually they are hidden in the cable terminator.
