I have a prs-270 (low end I know) and I am trying to edit the recorded user data. I am a programmer, so I have successfully dumped the sysex and reloaded it. Then I wrote a perl utilitiy to anaylyze the the dump and I can see the notes (screwed up format!). Does anyone have a spec for the dump format?
Are there major differences between dump formats on different models?

PS. I am really a guitar player, but I have successfully and painfully learned to play moonlight sonata -- but, there are a few blemishes I would like to erase. My ultimate goal is to extract midi out of the user recorded area from the sysex dump file. Sound useful? Does to me...
