Hi,
I don't have an A3000 I'm afraid (Akai user), but as far as I know there's no reason why they both shouldn't work. What I do recommend is going with a big hard drive instead of a Jaz. I use both at work (on Macs) and Hard drive prices have fallen to a level where they make consumables like Jaz discs hardly worth while. A hard drive would also be noticably faster (we're always waiting around for the Jaz drives).
Keep your eyes open for maximum drive sizes that can be read by the A3000.
Sorry I can't be of more assistance, and if anyone else can help out please do.
Mike.
