Hello.. I have
Yamaha SoftSynth YXG100 PLUS 1.0.16 and sblive ,and a roland midikeyboard. When i press the note on the keyboard, the tone doesnt come direct ,its deleying? Whats wrong?
I also use Cubase 5.0

Hello........Try playing with the latency settings of the softsynth........ this is a common problem with softsynths, especially if you have a slower computer. Good luck.

i have had the same problem, unfortunatley i had to buy an xg soundcard for my machine. I dont think you will get round it.

use the DirectSound output and adjust the "responsive time" in the S-YXG100 control panel.

Yamaha states on their web sight that you will not be able to play any of their soft synths in real time, that there is a delay.So I doubt any type of manipulation will get rid of it entirely. I eliminated the Yamaha soft synths from consideration when trying to upgrade to an XG capable computer for this reason.
