Can anyone help?

I have the above machine but can't get it to communicate with my p.c.

I have setup my settings../midi to "midi out" and have tried playing a simple midi file through media player (suggested to me). I get no sound. My sound card is a soundblaster live! value and functions well.

Does anyone know anything about the midi settings on the cvp92. I have read the manual and tried to change various parameters but still with no sound.

It could be a) Midi port
b) Cvp92 setup
c) Cabling

I am trying to eliminate each one before I am reduced to tears!

Any help or advice gratefully received.

hi i am having a similar problem i found
if you connect the in plug to out and vice versa the dam thing works but i still can`t get my pc to record music from the keyboard
