Hi. I'm looking at a Yamaha CP-35 and I have a few questions. I love the sound (very warm) and it has a decent action so I want to get it but there are a few problems with it:
1. It is missing a key. Does anyone know how hard it would be to replace it? Know a good place to find parts? I can't seem to find any from Yamaha's website. They have the manual archived but other than that there is no info on this keyboard on their website. Also, has anyone replaced a key on their own? It seems to me that it wouldn't be that difficult.
2. It is missing the hardware (poles) that attach the case so that it can be used as a stand. That's another piece that I think would be difficult to find.
I really like this instrument, but the weight is also an issue. It's weighs almost 100 lbs! Anyone know of another keyboard that has similar sounds w/ a nice action that doesn't weigh a ton?
Any other input on this keyboard would be appreciated as well.
Thanks.
