I have a DB50XG. I made several songs and i wanted to record them in the best possible quality. So i had an idea to download the Yamaha S-YXG100 soft synthesizer. It plays great (with some delay). But is there a possibility to sample the music directly to the hard disk? Something, that would bypass the soundcard. Something like MultiMid for audio. A "virtual" sound card? Maybe something like WinDAC. But instead of copying data from audio CD it would copy data directly from audio output.

Thank you for your help.

Tomas

Hey Ome_Slowhand,
Were you able to get this to work for you?
I downloaded per you advice, and my system recognized it (the sequencer did), but none of my soft-synths could. Your help would be appreciated. I ask you because I'm scared of the Russian to English translation thingy

Thanks.
