hi,
tonight on stage I broke my high "C" key on my 1 week old new PSR9000.
I played a organ lead and the key just broke in half right at the part that goes inside the
keyboard. This was under normal playing conditions and key pressure This has never happened
to me before on any keyboard in 35 years playing professionaly.

My dealer has other units on back order, might be hard to get a loaner until then. I can play it
for a while without that key but will have to get it fixed asap. Being a Pro and playing almosr
every night makes it hard to be without your instrument.

Where is the best Yamaha Service place to get it repaired "PRONTO" in the New
Jersey/Philadelphia area. Or can I get the KEY and replace it myself?

Any suggestions will help!!

Thanx

Donny

I talked to my Local Dealer about the broken key and I feel much better now :>). He is ordering the replacmenet key today, and the Yamaha repairman will replace the key in an hour or so as soon as it arrives. The need for a pro to have the dealers backing is essential in our business. You might pay a few dollars more versus buying mailorder but in times like this it well worth the extra bucks!
