Re: yamaha PSR 740 showing lyrics on the display, I have downloaded the program Yamaha XF Tool but haven't an idea how to use it. Is there a simple way for dummies like me to learn the program?

The 740 will display karaoke lyrics embedded into the midifile. The easiest way to get them in is to use a midi sequencer with text and marker features such as cakewalk. I dont know if yamaha's xf tool will do the job, as the lyrics need to be correctly encoded into the midifile. Best way is to open a midifile which works with lyrics in your sequencer to see if you can change them first..
