I'm looking to buy my 1st. keyboard and I narrow my choice between the 2 above. Any help on deciding which one would be appreciated. I will also be taking lessons when I decide which one

I would strongly recommend that you buy the psr yamaha model. THe PSR series has a really exceptional quality and I've own two of them: psr200 and just last month the psr540. I've compared these models and so far, the PSR series is beyond compare to a corresponding casio model of the same price range. Some sounds of PSR-640/740 even got included to the final recordings of some songs from the famous band 'Toto'. I've seen psr-gx76. It sounds great....
