Okay, here's the specifics: I recently got a Korg Wavestation and downloaded the factory preset sysex files and want to load them into the WS using my trusty QY700.

The QY recognises the disc and can see the .syx files, but when you try and load them into a song they are described as "illegal data". Anyone got any ideas?

The wider issue is whether you can save / load sysex data for any synth on the QY; I've searche the manual and can't find it mentioned, but as a midi storage facility, surely it must be possible. Do I need some clever program that turns .syx files into QY compatible ones?
