Will the host port on the QY70 enable me to use the unit as a tone generator to run midi files off a laptop in a live performance situation? Is this a simple device to use in conjunction with a laptop? If not, any other recommendations? I have been using a QY300 and MDF2 MIDI filer for years. I'm sick of carting diskettes around and corrupting data during dance sets. HELP!!!

It's a good choice to use the QY70 along with a laptop PC. I'm using my QY70 and Toshiba Satellite Pro 490XCDT for a long time and they both work very well
