I have purchased an M-Audio UNO and have MAC Powerbook G4 which appears to be communicating with my V50.... however I get a memory protect message... trying to turn it off has produced no results. I would like to OFFLOAD what is there and install some alternate patches... anyone with experience in this endeavor who is willing to share advice would be greatly appreciated

I'm surprised turning INT memory protect to off doesn't seem to work. But offloading data from the keyboard shouldn't be a problem even with memory protect enabled as it only relates to writing over keyboard memory not sending it out.
