Seems to be the best rackmount merge box on the market and I need one for my setup. I'm willing to pay a fair price for one in perfect condition, which it should be seeing as it's only 5yrs old or less.

Well I pounced on a UM-550 in Feb 2007, all the way from the USA at great cost. I spotted another UM-880 on Ebay a few months later and bought that for £165. Another one popped up for a mere £85 on Ebay from a recently widowed woman who wasn't familiar with music gear or their prices, but I already had my own UM-880 by then. This amazingly cheap auction was later to make my UM-550 auction a real headache, when idiots assumed that all UM-880s were that price I sold the UM-550 in Sept 2007 and made a loss due to the high cost of getting it from the USA in Feb.

Anyway the UM-880 is a terrific bit of kit and most definitely the best MIDI device on the market.
