I currently own a Dave Smith Instrument "Evolver" but am thinking of buying either a second "Evolver" or an Access Virus "C". Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

www.monomachine.com

Just wait until Elektron get some soundsamples up on their site. Shipping starts next week or something.

Did you notice how it says SID in the Monomachine's different synthesis forms? Maybe it has a SID station in there?

Well, because the Access Virus C is multimbrale and has a great sound, I would say, buy an Virus! It`s a great synth, you will have a lot of fun! The others would say "Q" from Waldorf is a great synth, too and I agree, I own a "Q", too and I like the sound! Your choice...!

The Virus sounds great and I believe the prices have come down somewhat too.

Sorry, no! The prices for the "C" and the old "B" are getting higher these days!
