Hi

I am looking to get a module that will give me good rich string sounds, plus a few nice leads and even drum sounds etc wouldent go unwelcomed.

I am looking at the usual suspects but dont know if they will do what I want. I tend mainly towards the electronic end of music.

I am thinking of Synths along the lines of MS2000r, Supernova rack, one of the roland Modules (i.e. JV1010/XV 2020 XV5080) or if my wife is feeling very generous even a triton rack/Virus. I have a few bits of gear that give me that Techno edge but nothing that gives me realy nice strings or those sounds that really fill out a piece. (Good drum sounds would also help)

I would like your opinions.

Thanks

Noel

There are no shortage of good modules, you may want to consider the Kurzweil PC2R with the Orchestral rom & GM set. I had a K2600 and the strings and orchestral sounds were supurb, the PC2 has the same strings. Have a ball , lots of good stuff out there.
