I'd like to backup the grooves on my MC-303 in some way, preferrably by dumping it to my PC. Anybody have any good software for doing that?

And of course now it happened. This weekend, the memory of the MC-303 got erased. Darn, darn, darn!

You need to do a SYSEX dump onto a sequencer. I havent tried it with a PC sequencer but it should work the same. You can only dump/retrive ALL user patterns at once. hook midi OUT of 303 to IN of PC. Hit rec in your PC sequencer and BULK DUMP on 303. It should take about 5 minutes and may need to do it in 2 sections. Its all in the manual, get one!
