I'm wondering if anyone out there that's used both the MC-505 and JX-305 can give me a comparison between the two as far as which would be more useful for a beginner such as myself. I am a DJ and have a lot of knowledge of techno music, but little experience with these products. Would the extra money put into an mc-505 be worth it or would the jx-305 be just as good for making dance tracks?

I am planning on sequencing it in with a DJM500 pioneer mixer as an effect as well as sequencing the music via my computer to produce original music using midi.

thanks for any info.
