They are down in Louisiana. Close to $2.20 today. Speculation is that the price will approach $2.00 soon. Sounds cheap doesn't it? But I remember when it was .20/gallon!! Anyway, it's better than a few weeks ago. DonM

Hi Guys , please stop complaining about Petrol(sorry ) Gasoline !!!prices !!! Come and fill up your tanks in England (uk ) and you will pay at least $8.70 per gallon !!! When I was tourng Arizona and wyoming I felt guilty and thought I'd robbed the Gas station !! cos the prices were so low !!!
To all my friends in the USA I say , come and live in the UK and you will pay much much more for everything !!!
When I visit the USA I'm amazed at the price differentials !!!!

I bought some for $2.49 in Baltimore yesterday. Now that's saying something. I hope it stays low for the sake of all those people who have to commute long distances just to make a living.

You guys have it good. Last time I bought gas here in California it was still around $3.40 a gallon for premium. I must be living in the wrong state I guess.

Thanks Graham for your comments !! I began to feel I was the lone voice from the uk . None of our USA cousins seemed to want to say anything about our really high prices !!

Life's situations are always relative ... we here in the US of A were used to paying $1.30 or less for a gallon of regular gas ... now that prices have risen, we complain ... I can remember 'several' years ago paying 75 CENTS a gallon ... then came the gasoline 'shortage' and the price increase to $1.30 ... When I was in Italy earlier this year, I put e5 (5 euros) in an automatic gas pump ... the thing barely started pumping when it shut off ... so much for 5 euros worth !!! ... t.
$2.17 in Detroit today. Got it for $2.07 with my Kroger card - just have to buy $150 in groceries each month to get an extra 10 cents off per gallon on four fill-ups the next month.

Believe it or not, there never was an employee discount! Only benefit was insider trading. Fortunately, the statute of limitations is up. On the way home last night (this morning) I passed a Raceway station with $1.94 on the sign. DonM
