Life's situations are always relative ... we here in the US of A were used to paying $1.30 or less for a gallon of regular gas ... now that prices have risen, we complain ... I can remember 'several' years ago paying 75 CENTS a gallon ... then came the gasoline 'shortage' and the price increase to $1.30 ... When I was in Italy earlier this year, I put e5 (5 euros) in an automatic gas pump ... the thing barely started pumping when it shut off

... so much for 5 euros worth !!!
