Many years back, I played slide trombone for a period of 10 years. I thought i could play it...
until i heard these 4 young ladies from the Manchester area of England.
And listen to the part played traditionally on the piccolo.

Yes sir Mike, and the 1 girl playing the piccolo part is doing triple-tonguing technique on that part.
I could not do the double-tonguing without dislocatiing my tongue
She is very good. All 4 do a very nice job.

Its a nice change to see a younger generation working at things that help keep some older quality traditions alive.
One day, we will probably get to a point where a kid wants to know what a march is and the other kids will say, its a month, dummy!
