Back in my high-school college days, I was a life guard and gave swimming lessons. We did use stuff like coconut oil to darken the tan.
Probably why I keep having pre-cancerous lesions removed now.

For cooking there are no better oils than such as with unsaterated fatty acids. Imho there are no seriously new medical analysises that provides other informations.
A good choice for cooking is hanf oil because it'll be getting better (cleaner!) from cooking to cooking.

You and I must have seen the same news story on TV. However, I do know that extra-virgin olive oil has been touted by cardiologists as the best oil for your health. They're all fats, just some nastier than others.
