I played in a band called The Name that opened for INXS many times in Australia in the 80s so I guess I am probably more interested in this than most. I have been watching the reality show Rockstar INXS to see which singer is going to replace Michael Hutchence in INXS for their next album and tour. Is anyone else watching this show at all ?

Caught about 10 minutes of this one....KILLER house band, and the guys appear all to be pretty down to earth and articulate. couple of the contestants are pretty good.I understand the show is "tanking" from a ratings standpoint.

Yes the band is great whatever song they are playing. I don't watch reality shows but I watch this one just for the live music. Plus having worked at venues opening for INXS and meeting them a few times I am curious. They are a good band and pretty down to earth guys. I guess with the death of their singer a few years back this show seemed like a reasonable chance to find a replacement and get some PR at the same time. Can't blame them.

Yeah I guess because it actually has some musical value it doesn't rate well. Other reality TV shows have no appeal for me.
