Chas...it's 40,000 square feet of nostalgia. For instance, I have the original 16 channel board from the late 70's out of a recording studio I started with some other investors. Dials are about 3" across. The thing is larger than a full size office desk! Somewhere around here is the 2" recording machine. I recall that even in the late 70's we had to cough up over $160,000.00. Now, of course, you can get superior sound out of a digital $700.00 desk-top set up about the size of a small portable radio. We do have some old 2" tape, and get calls from purists who want to buy some.

Man, has this business changed!

Dumb question time

Isn't the M100 considered a Baby B3?

Yes, Jerry...when that's all I co uld afford (and lift), an M-100 was my baby B-3.

Really had fun with that one (mid-60's...still a teenager). My first Hammond was an M (no numbers following the letter "M"). That's why I really like the old relic I just got. No pre-sets at all.
