Don said the doctor didn’t think the cancer had spread beyond what they had removed and they got it all. Susan will however have to take Kemo. He said thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

I just got back from the hospital. The doctor had removed 12 lymph nodes at the time of the surgery. Eleven were clear but one had a cancer cell in it. This makes it by definition a stage three cancer. The doctor doesn't believe it has spread anywhere else.
She will begin chemotherapy in about a month from now. The history of cases with this profile have less than a 30 percent change of recurrance after chemo.
She will most likely be in the hospital until Thursday or Friday.
