Picked up the Eagles Final I dvd the other day.
What a great concert, excellent camera work, great sound.
3 hours of incredible music & harmonies.
Defintely worth dropping some coin on this one.

I saw some cuts from that show on cable a little while back. I definately want to get this DVD as I enjoyed it a lot. Everything about the show was inspiring. And Joe Walsh on guitar really made it for me. And to top it off it was recorded in Melbourne my home town.

Nigel...Joe Walsh will absolutely slay you.
I'm sure you're familiar with his stage antics. Some of the funniest footage is Glenn Frey's reaction to Walsh's antics during Rocky Mountain Way.

Nigel...I'm looking forward to your views on this dvd. I can't say enuff about it, IMO, it's just great, better than "Hell Freezes Over", and that was brilliant piece of work.

Mine is a double dvd package, so make sure you get the same one (they might try & market a scaled down version).
The double dvd set has some great interview material also.
Again...well worth the coin.

While we're on the subject of recent DVD releases of concert performances I was at a friends place the other day and he had the Live 8 DVD. He played me the Pink Floyd performances. Boy, I was really knocked out by how good they sounded. I've always loved Dave Gilmore and watching and hearing him play at that concert was really inspiring. Now I need to buy that as well as the Eagles DVD.

I got the Eagles DVD for Christmas and just watched it all today. I had seen parts of it on cable, but the DVD with some decent speakers is excellent. I actually got the feeling they were a working band, not just a concert band on the second disk. One of the best concert DVDs I've seen and heard.
