I know how to reinitialize my HR-16.
I would like to know if it is possible to download some new patterns into it, and if so, where can I get them? I have created some of my own in the past, and backed them to tape, but lost them somewhere. Thanks.

It is certainly possible to load them. I used to have a file of them, but it was a long time ago. I'll look, but don't hold your breath!

Hi, Don,
I powered up the HR-16 while holding down the erase, delete, and record buttons,
thinking I was going to restore the factory demos.
Now the whole thing is empty. Dang, dang, dang!

I hope you can find the file.

The Yahoo group for the HR-16 at http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/HR-16B/ has all the files you need. Just join the group and you can download all the sysex files from the Files section there. That should fix your problem.
