Just wanted to say to those who live in the US...Happy Thanksgiving!!
I do have a quick 'etiquette'question....I was invited by this couple (friend of mine) and found out today that although they occasionally drink a glass or two of wine, they don't drink wine at dinner when one of their younger kids is around (he's 15).
Bringing wine lately has been my personal offering when coming to people's house (especially during the holidays)...of course I was going to bring the wine specifically for them as my personal thanks, but now I am rethinking it since only a couple other people may enjoy the wine anyway (party of 12)....on to plan B..I'm going to bring a home made pastry appetizer instead, for them to munch on while watching TV before the dinner. Do guests bring other stuff to a Thanksiging party other than wine?
