So here we are coming up on Saturday, with a huge annual gig.
Unfortunately, booked in the new Multiplex Centre on the same night is some hag named...... ....Cher!!! Sometimes ya just can't win for losin'. On the other hand, hopefully her $150+ per ticket will disuade a lot of people from taking in her show. Oh...btw.. ...The warm -up act...is the Village People.

It can only be a plus for you having Cher bring people to the Multiplex for you. I used to work in Australia in a band opening for headlining acts like INXS, Midnight Oil and Divinyls and enjoyed playing to crowds that we never would have pulled by ourselves.

She must be doing something right. She will pack the place with people paying about $75 a ticket. She is still making a fantastic salary, after being in the business for 40 years. She is no "1 hit wonder".

Sorry Nigel...I guess I didn't make myself understood. We're not playing at the Multiplex....we're at a different venue. But, that said, our gig is a rock & roll revival, 50's though the 80's, and we've always pulled the crowds in, in the past. We too we're fortunate enough to open for a couple of big acts this past summer...Prism & Harlequin. They we're great gigs. ------------------ ...shboom
btw: Nigel, while I've gotcha...How is Kerry doing? Well I hope.

Okay, we have now after 21 o'clock! Tell me how it's gone, Shboom! Did you rock the chair...or better with Cher? Oh, I love that woman... ...she's a really good actress I think so...
Well, dig it! Your concert is quiet more interesting for me...

You're a little ahead of me in time Sheriff. It's currently just after 2:00pm Saturday afternoon here. I leave for our gig in 4 hours.... I'll let ya know how all turned out.

I can't await it!!!
And...yes, you're right. I'm a little bit out of your local time. The hardest thing for me is that I actually have nothing to do. I'm sitting here and put my fingers in my nostrils while I'm waiting for some hardware for my K2000. It's always the same - if I have nothing to do then I bother my fellow men.
