Not that a lot off musicians like or have time for the Eurovision Song Contest but having wrote the song that represented Ireland in the 1995 final and been involved that year I can tell you it was an experience I will never forget.So I can never ignore it each time it comes round.
Be it they dont use live orchestra anymore.
1995 was the last year then they moved on
to backing tracks.I was involved again in 2000 playing keyboards or should I say asked
to mime to a track .So things move on
but is it for the better.
