I'm off tonite, and just watching the LSU/Miami game..

So I may as well stir things up a little....

Who's our "Biggest Loser" at SZ..

The Guys I know of are: Donny Pesce, Don Mason, Gary Diamond, and Dave Boyd...I think Donny is the "Biggest loser" to date. Around 100lbs if I am not mistaken..

I think the other guys range from 45 to 70 lbs. Not counting the extra 130lbs UD lost[the Mrs.]...

Any other contenders out there?

I lost about 50 pounds a couple of years ago on Atkins. Seems I've put much of it back on in the past year. However, the circumstances that led to my getting away from proper eating habits are now resolved, so I'm losing again. In a couple of months I'll be back to my svelte, handsome self again!

P.S. As you can imagine, I won a rather tidy sum on the LSU Tigers tonight!! Maybe they should replace the Saints with the entire team.

Well, this is ancient history now but I'll throw my hat into the ring. 21 years ago I weighed in at 265 pounds. Dropped down to 180 pounds(for a loss of 85 pounds) and give or take 15 pounds mostly give. I average around 190 today but 3 years ago was down to 175. A major life style change did the trick no more overeating, lots of excercise. (I usually run 15 to 20 miles a week, many more if I'm training for a marathon or sprint type triathlon). Oh yea, and no more quarts of booze a day as my beverage of choice. It's been the best 21 years of my life.

Steve ... what marathons have you run ... I ran New York three times ... '79, 80, 81 ...
did wonders for my heart and lungs but led to knee replacement a couple of years ago ...

Tony,Congratulations on 3 NYCs imho it's best marathon in the world. Yea, marathoning can do a job on the knees for sure.

I ran NYC in 93, 94( cancelled due to arthroscopy of the knee) 95 and 98. Going back I ran my first Ocean State in 1985 then 3 more Rhode Island Marathons thru the late 80s and into early 90. In 2004 ran the Marine Corps in DC. Everytime I've run one I swear it will be my last especially the Marine Corps marathon. It was an unseasonably warm for late October 86 degrees and humid!!! It kicked my butt in plain English. I think I may have one more left in me, possibly the New Las Vegas Marathon in 2006, maybe one more NY. We'll see what the new year brings. Happy New Year!

80 lbs to date. I weigh in at a cool, lean 200 these days ....... I'm still the biggest loser though because of that Florida fiasco. yikes.
