My Bichon dog was sick 2 weeks ago. We thought she had eaten something bad, the vet gave her shots to calm her stomach etc... "keep an eye n her" ...
24 hours went by, and my dog "sophie" was getting worse and we end up taking her to the pet ER (wow, big bucks)....they kept her overnight for observation.
Well, during the night, she started having blood come out of her nose and mouth and they sedated her. They end up finding a 1 inch needle and thread, stuck in her thoat.
The next day, my wife goes for the "walk for the cure" to raise money for breast cancer.
A mother walks up to her and says, "be carfeul were you walk , my son left his needle and thread at your house"....
Not knowing what had happened the day before.
True story.....
I also had an encounter with a woman on the same night my wife and I took our dog to the ER. This woman was crying and signing papers for her 10 year old bichon.... which she had just brought in..
About 15 minutes later, the woman came out of the back area of the ER, upset and crying ..
I got up to give her a hug and say everything was going to be ok.
We start talking and she mention's that she publish's a newspaper for area musicians and cover'sthe local music scene. Music Monthly has been in print for over 21 years in Baltimore and I have been advertising in this paper for 2 1/2 years and had never met the publisher. We met for the 1st time at the PET ER.... as strangers. Cool
