Here's a snippet from an AP piece I saw in yesterday's paper.

"Vermont lawmakers are considering a measure that would ban eating, drinking, smoking, reading, writing, personal grooming, PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT, talking on a cellphone . . . while driving."

If I'm going to do that, then I'd better consider a lighter keyboard to sit across my lap.

Also, I guess we'd better let the manufacturers know that any future OS updates should include a screen for flashing turn signals - maybe incorporate it in a fill button. :-)

True story - I once bought a pair of small, powered speakers for my desktop that had a warning label on them:
"Not intended for use underwater"

I swear, it's true. They were a/c powered with a standard 110v plug, and they still found the need to put in the disclaimer !
sheeesh !
