I'm seriously thinking of buying a G-70. To do so I will have to sell one or more of my other keyboards. Anyone interested in a VR-760 or a PSR2000? Both are in great shape, with all the manuals and extras. I also have a Kurzweil Mark 5 digital grand (console style) that I will probably sell locally, but would anyone like to shout out a price ('cuz I'm lost on that one).

The G-70 will probably become my only keyboard, as I am now playing less. It's an impressive instrument, but I'm wondering if my other two boards are probably just as good. The advantage would be having one stage keyboard instead of two. Any comments?

I believe the G70 can replace the VR760[Same organ drawbars, and a great piano]..as for the PSR2000, anything can replace that board..

What is nice about the VR760..it does everything well and is not heavy, also very playable...gee are you sure you can't keep it and still get a G70?

Fran, that's exactly what I'm thinking, but the size and weight of the VR760 is quite formidable. I don't know if i would use the 760 once I got used to the 70 - tempting.

Keep the VR760
Together with the G70 you have a decent lower section with drawbars and the 760 can have more srx cards.

I'm thinking from a band situation.
In which case you also have a backup on hand.

In case you also work as solo arranger artist you might need to keep the psr as backup.

Thanks guys, but I've changed my mind for now. I'm keeping both keyboards and not buying the G-70. It would have cast me about $1100 out-of-pocket to get the G-70, too much for a guy who isn't playing as much as he would like.

Anyway, the VR-760 is such a great keyboard I still want to play it. I had an offer for $1200, paid $1500 two years ago. It's my favorite keyboard in years.
