Did Bill Evans ever record/perform the song "Lush Life"? If so I can't find the recording.

About 1 year before Bill tragically took his life, I went to Shelly's Mannhole in LA and heard Evans. Not real sure, but I think he played Lush Life. He was sitting in with Ray Brown and Herb Ellis.

At the time, I was too young and green behind the ears to really appreciate what I was seeing and hearing. That's one of my greatest regrets, but at least I got to see and hear some of the jazz giants alive and working in the early 60's.

I just looked online a bit. I would have thought that the song would have been something he would have wanted to record. Along the lines of his "My Foolish Heart" arrangement/recording.

Good to "see" you here as as well. I actually was doing a search for a song called "Stairway To The Stars". Which I was vaguely familiar with. Of course then I got sidetracked with my "Lush Life"/Evans search/question.
