My latest acquisition is a beautiful X-150 single pick-up Guild. I met a guy who has a business here roasting and selling a premium brand of coffee. He had listed a Godin Kingpin on Craigs List. I contacted him when George was checking on availability of a Kingpin from the godin factory.

George let me know he had found one, and I wanted to honor my deal with George. When I told the guy, he didn't try to get me to buy from him, even though his guitar was perfect and $200.00 less. I asked if the guy had anyhthing else to sell, he mentioned the Guild.

It's perfect for my style, and I especially appreciate the attitude the guy had in understanding that my commitment was to the deal in progress with George.

Lots of questionable folks out there in internet land, but there are folks like my new friend Mark who are great to meet and sort of restore your faith in people.

Great new guitar and new friend. It doesn't get any better than that.
