I have always been a fan of Taike, and have been communicating with him and enjoying photos of "da Dude", his great little three year old.

Recently, we exchanged little gifts...thoughtful little things which may not seem like much to many, but which are invaluable to me.

I so much appreciate the opportunity to learn about an ancient far away culture so rich in
tradition, meaning and purpose. I now have comunicated directly with beautiful Nok, Taike's wonderful wife and Mapanoy's mother.

The physical distance between us pales when you consider the heartfelt closeness on both sides.

The invitation to be a part of their dear little family is a major life-affirming event to me.

None of this would have been possible without the internet and the "zone".

And this really points out the silliness of some of the bickering here.

I'm profoundly greatful to have a new little family.

What a happy situation for me!

On behalf of Nok, Mapanoy and myself, thank you, Russ.

We all look up to you and I think Nok explained it quite well in her message to you. And be assured that she meant every word!

Now Mapanoy has two great grandfathers. He doesn't quite understand it now but he will soon enough.

I'll be sending you some more pics later on.

Regards

Taike
