I am certain many of us have seen some of the photos coming out of Haiti. Absolutely devastating destruction.

I pray that the people of this country will get the help they need.

I have a friend that quit her nurse position at a local hospital to do volunteer work in Haiti..She left here about 2 weeks ago...for an extended stay..most likely at the hospital shown in the news..We have not been able to get any info..as to how she is...

Haiti is about the size of Maryland.

Sorry to hear that Fran. I, too, have a very close friend who is Haitian and an associate professor at Univ. of PA. She has at least a dozen family members still on the island and as of this morning, has not been able to reach any of them. It looks pretty grim. Keep your fingers crossed.
