My youngest guy is a "car dude". We rebuild Cushman scooters, Kit bikes, old cars, etc. The newest project just hit the road....A PARTY BUS. It's a completely reworked short Chevy school bus converted to a "party on wheels". It is re-painted Corvette yellow with a 350 crate engine. It has 2000 watts of power, IPod connections, Rino lining inside, fog machine, lazer ball lights, full neon inside and out, 12 inch speakers (10), sub-bass cabinet, seats arranged around the outside walls, instead of the conventional seats, tinted windows, chrome wheels...the works...even a STRIPPER POLE! And, it was getting booked up even before it was ready! A restaurant I play is using it to transport patrons to all home football games, it is booked for proms the next three week-ends, plus weddings, frat events, with lots of interest from local hotels, bars (for a monthly pub crawl) and more.

Kids have already been test riding and writing things in markers on the wall, like the sentimental message just over the entrance/exit step..."breast exposure appreciated (30 second minimum, please"). I've been told some happy travelers have already gladly complied with the request.

For an investment much less than a limo, this thing looks like a fun moneymaker.
May only be popular for a year or two, but WHO CARES?

It's FUN to do things together with your kids!

what a fantastic idea....would love to see some photos (open exposure, somewhere near the entrance/exit would be good...lol)

great idea for a project.

by the way...as well as vintage Hammonds and photography, another hobby is classic cars. I have an ex rally car; a 1961 Sunbeam and we have a couple of classic mini's too. this is one of em:

Not being a wearer of said garment I hadn't included that in the count

It just struck me, does your coach have this option?

No, our bus doesn't have that option. We've got a few restored cars, too...a 56 T Bird, 55 Chevy, 64 Malibu wagon, cut, 350 crate engine, doors leaded, airbag suspension...lots of "adders".

Had a Mom look at the bus for her daughters prom transportation. she looked long and hard at the "boobs" sign. Don't really think she'll call back to confirm.

Guess she can't take a joke!(LOL).

I would love to see some photos of your projects - you can drop me an email if you like.

I don't get why the girls Mother didn't want her daughter using the coach for a prom though

By the way - looked at the Malibu...that is one big car! I don't think any British cars have ever been 5.5m long!

This is my Sunbeam:
