Taike called me late last week, when I was in the middle of helping a long-time friend during an emergency hospital stay.

I'm so sorry we couldn't have visited more, but the time we spent talking was the 'shot in the arm" I needed to make it though the week-end sleeping in what has to be the most uncomfortable hospital chair in the world.

Then, this morning, I get some great photos of Mapanoy, Taike's little 3 1/2 year old son and my "adopted" grandson.

What a "DUDE"!

It's always a pleasure hearing from you, Russ. You did sound exhausted.

"Da Dude" Mapanoy is only 3 1/2 but he's a real ladies' man. He always goes straight for the prettiest girls or young ladies. His latest flame is one of his teachers. Of course, she's the prettiest of the teaching staff.

Janice no doubt feels blessed having you by her side and for you being her friend. I'm happy that we share the same principles when it comes to friendship.

You'll be getting more pics of your adopted grandson.
